The Children Friendly Space (CFS) Initiative was implemented with our own funding to provide practical leadership and teamwork opportunities for students who studied at the Seeker Institute. The program was designed to strengthen their organizational leadership skills, enhance teamwork capacity, and provide hands-on community engagement experience. As part of this initiative, students organized and facilitated Children Friendly Space (CFS) activities in internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in Sittwe, creating supportive and engaging spaces for children affected by displacement. Activities Conducted Drawing and painting competitions English language practice and storytelling sessions Recreational games and group activities Distribution of stationery and learning materials Additional support based on the needs of the children Through this initiative, students gained valuable real-life experience in community service, leadership, and collaboration, while helping to create a safe, supportive, and joyful environment for vulnerable children.
