Introduction About Our Seekers institute

Seekers Institute was established in Sittwe Rakhine State, in 2011 to provide vocational training to young people in the region. The main activities include knowledge dissemination, professional and technical services, and educational programs conducted by associations. The Institute aims to develop a sustainable human society that promotes and protects equality by applying knowledge and skills to adapt to the evolving natural and social conditions.

Our Program
We focus on empowering individuals through a diverse range of educational and vocational programs designed to address the needs of the Rakhine community. Our programs aim to bridge gaps in education, foster sustainable livelihoods, and build resilient communities

1. ICT literacy Skills

ICT Literacy Skills is a program that teaches computer technology subjects to young people. It is designed to be affordable and to provide support for employment opportunities. The participants are 16 to 25-year-olds from various townships in Rakhine State. According to the list of participants, more than three hundred attend each year. In addition to this, free courses are also offered in conjunction with international organizations.

2.Personal Development skills

Personal Development Skills is a comprehensive training program designed to help individuals enhance their personal and professional growth. This program focuses on building essential skills such as communication, leadership, time management, and emotional intelligence, which are crucial for personal success and career advancement.

3.Vocational Training

The Vocational Training Program at Seeker Institute aims to equip participants with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for job opportunities. This program is designed for individuals seeking to enter the workforce quickly or enhance their existing skills to improve employment opportunities. It includes training in computer skills and other literacy skills essential for modern workplaces.

4.Leadership training

The Leadership Training Program at Seeker Institute is designed to develop and enhance leadership skills in individuals seeking to excel in leadership roles within their organizations or communities. This program focuses on building key competencies, including strategic thinking, team management, communication, and problem-solving.

5.Youth empowerment

The Youth Empowerment Program at Seeker Institute aims to inspire and equip young individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to lead impactful lives. This program focuses on personal development, leadership, career readiness, and community engagement, empowering youth to become proactive and responsible members of society.
